As a Sales Executive, you’re the first point of contact for potential customers. You identify market opportunities, lead strategic conversations, and convince prospects of the value of our solutions. You build relationships from the very first interaction and guide prospects through to closing the deal. You’ll work closely with Marketing and our technical consultants to advise potential clients on the best-fit solutions. In addition to identifying opportunities, you prepare proposals and seal the deal. In this role, you are responsible to manage and nurturing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving sales growth. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a customer-oriented mindset.

What you’ll do
As a Sales Executive, your primary mission is to identify and win new business. You’ll prospect, pitch, and close deals with potential clients, showcasing the value of our smart data solutions. You’ll be the face of our company for new customers and play a key role in driving growth
• Proactively identify and contact new prospects through cold calling, networking, and events
• Spot market opportunities and develop a pipeline of qualified leads
• Conduct sales conversations and presentations
• Draft and follow up on proposals and close deals
• Collaborate with marketing, consulting, and development teams to craft tailored solutions
• Contribute to the company’s sales and growth objectives
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts
Who you are
You have a Bachelor’s degree in a commercial field (or equivalent experience). You have a minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in new business sales. Since Dutch is the primary language in our Hoorn office, fluency in Dutch is required, along with a strong command of English.
Additionally, you are:

• You’re customer-oriented, analytical and results-driven – not afraid to cold call, handle objections, and work towards targets.
• Experienced with CRM systems, prospecting, and outreach tools.
• Flexible and able to manage multiple projects/campaigns simultaneously
