What will you be doing?
As an EDI Expert, you combine two worlds: you implement new EDI solutions for our customers while also acting as the specialist for complex 3rd Line Support issues.
You build mappings, implement integrations and coordinate with customers and external partners. And when a customer's message flow does not work as expected, you investigate the cause and make sure the issue is resolved.
Your responsibilities include:
• analysing and resolving complex 3rd Line Support incidents;
• building, testing and maintaining EDI mappings;
• implementing new customer integrations;
• optimising existing message flows;
• advising customers and colleagues on EDI and integration-related matters;
• coordinating EDI projects and working closely with customers, colleagues and external partners.
What does an EDI project look like in practice?
You guide an EDI project from the initial requirements through to a fully operational integration. Together with the customer and external partners, you determine which messages and standards will be used. You build and test the required mappings and ensure that different systems can communicate with each other correctly.
Throughout the project, you keep an overview of the process, coordinate with all parties involved and guide the integration through testing and go-live.

Experience with XML, JSON, EDIFACT, APIs, AS2, SFTP or similar standards and protocols is an advantage. Basic knowledge of EDIFACT and its application in the Dutch market is required.

You will work from our office in Hoorn, the Netherlands, as part of a small team of EDI experts. You will have plenty of freedom and responsibility while working closely with customers, trading partners and international colleagues.
