Within this context, we are looking for a Data Analyst / Data Product Consultant.
This is a highly operational role focused on handling large datasets, their transformation, and data quality, with a progressive evolution toward a consulting and client-facing advisory role.
Your responsibilities
You will start by gaining a deep understanding of clients’ information systems in order to identify data sources, data flows, and reporting constraints.
You will then work on the core of the role: managing, mapping, and transforming product data. You will define mappings between source and target fields, apply normalization rules, handle complex cases (consolidation, conditional rules, substitutions), and work with large volumes of data (hundreds of thousands of rows), mainly using Excel.
Data quality and compliance are key priorities: you will set up controls, identify anomalies, and ensure the consistency of delivered information in demanding environments.
In parallel, you will produce advanced analyses and reporting. These deliverables help transform complex data into reliable, structured, and actionable information.
Finally, you will act as a key point of contact for clients: gathering their needs, challenging them when necessary, and explaining your choices, methods, and results in a clear and pedagogical way. You will progressively evolve toward a consulting and data advisory role.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Master’s degree (Bac +4/5) from an engineering school, university, or business school, with a specialization in data, and 2 to 5 years of experience in data-related roles, ideally in data analysis, IT consulting, or product data management. Experience in retail or e-commerce environments is a plus.
You have advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VBA, etc.) and are comfortable working with large datasets. You understand data flow logic between systems (PIM, MDM, ERP) and are able to work in structured and complex environments. Knowledge of BI tools is an advantage.
Your strengths lie in your rigor, attention to detail, and ability to detect inconsistencies. You enjoy deeply understanding data and ensuring its reliability.
You are also comfortable interacting with clients and can explain technical topics in a simple and accessible way.
Professional English and French (written and spoken) are required.
Job conditions
Contract: Permanent contract (CDI) – Executive status with fixed days, eligible for compensatory days off
Location: Paris and/or remote work
Salary: Fixed + variable (depending on profile and experience)
