Standard Products Inc., under the Stanpro brand, is one of Canada’s leading privately owned lighting companies. Born from the merger of Standard Products Inc. and Stanpro Lighting Systems, the company designs, develops and distributes innovative lighting solutions across North America. With more than 350 professionals across design, engineering and distribution, Standard Products supports construction projects, retrofit initiatives and national accounts while maintaining a broad network of partners and distributors.
Context
Standard Products historically managed its EDI environment internally through an IBM Gentran infrastructure integrated with SAP NetWeaver 7.4.
As part of its modernization strategy, the company was looking for a partner capable of taking over and evolving its EDI environment while ensuring business continuity and the long-term sustainability of its commercial exchanges. AGENA3000 has been supporting Standard Products in this transformation since 2021.
The objective was to rely on a high-performing, secure and scalable cloud-based EDI solution capable of supporting both current and future business needs.

The project involved several challenges:
- 27 trading partners with specific EDI requirements
- Multiple X12 formats and variations
- Management of 6 key transaction sets: 850, 855, 856, 810, 820 and 997
- Migration of complex business rules (lot pricing, discounts, promotions, etc.)
- ASN (Advance Shipping Notice) optimization
- Integration with SAP NetWeaver 7.4
- Ability to support future technology evolution

Supporting the SAP to NetSuite Project
Following the success of the EDI project, Standard Products once again selected AGENA3000 as part of its ERP migration project from SAP to NetSuite.
In this context, our teams support the company on the EDI workstream associated with the migration in order to ensure:
- continuity of EDI flows throughout the transition;
- adaptation of EDI integrations to the new NetSuite environment;
- migration of existing mappings and business rules;
- uninterrupted exchanges with trading partners.
The project is progressing successfully and is expected to be completed in 2026.
